Denver Technology - A Testing Heritage
Whilst Denver Technology’s systems management roots can be traced back to the company’s origins 25 years ago in Perth, Western Australia, some of our other service offerings have been added more recently. Today, Denver Technology offers a broad portfolio of IT and systems services, enhanced by the experienced European Management team.
Andrew Hubbard (CEO of Denver Technology) and Sean Jacob (General Manager) have worked together for more than 12 years, first meeting when Andrew invited Sean to join the board of the testing consultancy he established in the early nineties, XTeam Limited. Delivering function, performance and acceptance testing to businesses that included Cadburys, npower, EDF, LIFFE and the NHS, XTeam was recognised as a Sunday Times Fast Track 100 Company, before being acquired by Compaq in 1999.
Following the Compaq (now HP) acquisition, Sean took on a senior Practice Principal role within Compaq’s Global Services Division, leading Compaq Assure (80+ test consultants, predominantly from the re-branded Xteam) who went on to support the testing and assurance of systems implementations in the UK and across Europe, in markets that included finance, telecoms and government. Andrew was appointed EMEA Director for ZLE (Compaq’s Zero Latency Enterprise division).
Andrew joined the board of Denver Technology in early 2007 and Sean joined the company in February this year. Building on their combined experience and working with colleagues and businesses that have proved world-beating in the past, Denver Technology is now set for success, already identified by HP as a Silver Partner and preferred implementer of their Business Software tools (built on the Mercury Performance Testing toolset).
